Ashley Kim is a junior majoring in Health & Societies with a concentration in Health Law and Policy on the Pre-Law track. She is originally from Montana. She is also involved with Penn Women’s Center and Penn Mock Trial. She is passionate about the intersection between civic engagement, gender equity, healthcare, and voter education. In her free time she likes listening to music, reading, and playing tennis. As a partnership coordinator she hopes to collaborate with the cultural resource centers as well as various different clubs on campus!

Sarah Oburu is a masters student from Acworth, GA, at Fels Institute getting her Masters in Public Administration. Recently graduated from the College of Arts and Sciences, where she got her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a concentration in Public Policy and Governance and minor in Legal Studies and History. Sarah has a passion for civic engagement, voting rights and servant leadership!

Juliana is a sophomore from Phoenix, Arizona in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Psychology and Political Science. She is involved in Mask and Wig’s business team, 215Records, and is part of another Netter Center partnership as a Silverman Fellow where she teaches art in local Philly schools. She is passionate about how communication, social media, and art can mobilize civic engagement, especially with youth voters. She loves to listen to music and play NYT Games in her free time!

Pètra is a junior from Stellenbosch, South Africa in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Political Science and Cognitive Science. She is an undergraduate fellow at the Communication Neuroscience Lab, represented the Penn Debate Society at the World Championships in Panama, and is a member of the International Affairs Association (Intercol). Outside of Penn, she is the Policy Coordinator for the Children and Youth Major Group to the United Nations Environmental Programme and the Executive Director for the Participation Project. She is passionate about amplifying youth voices in civic spaces and developing effective message campaigns for collective action behaviors.

Ami Raithatha is a freshman from Ellicott City, Maryland in the College of Arts and Sciences, planning to major in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. She has worked with the League of Women Voters and the Maryland Governor’s Office, where she focused on expanding access to civic resources. She is passionate about making civic engagement more widely accessible, particularly for Limited English Proficiency and multilingual communities. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting and binging TV shows. As a Partnership Coordinator, she looks forward to strengthening the outreach and impact of Penn Leads the Vote!

Betty is a freshman from Brooklyn, New York in the College of Arts and Sciences, planning on studying PPE. She has a strong interest in how societal structures and policy decisions shape communities. She has led positions working in City Council, her school district, and law firms to help increase civic engagement! In her free time, she enjoys watching pyschological thrillers and hiking.

Leah Elesinmogun is a senior from Bowie, Maryland at The Wharton School (Joseph Wharton Scholar) and the College double majoring in Finance and International Relations. Leah is involved in many organizations on campus such as the Black Wharton Undergraduate Association, Wharton 1010 TA, and the Black Pre-Law Association, and is a research assistant in the Legal Studies Department at Wharton. As the Wharton coordinator, she hopes to improve the connection between Wharton students/clubs with voter engagement. In her free time, she loved to play tennis and listen to music.
